Syntheclinic

Installation (foam Bone-China, steel, car polstry, car lights, car battery). MU, Eindhoven (NL).

Syntheclinic is a spacial collage inspired by third world fieldclinics made from 'found" car interior- and exterior elements. The self-made stainless steel interior of the clinic, the front-light operating-lamp on car-battery and car inspection lights is contributing to this eerie feeling, as this clinic could be set up on remote locations, under a viaduct on the highway or in an abandoned building. This is not a high-end clinic with the latest technology, but an improvised one. On display are synthetic fractures of the skeleton system, inserted with bio-ceramic implants replacing the skeletal structure itself or parts of it.
